Water Cycles: planting water through creating diverse forest systems

Location: Roncanito, Odemira

This project began in 2021 as an educational workshop resulting in the planting of a wild forest garden. Since then we have expanded this site through an internship program, where we shared some principles from syntropic agriculture, together with Lars' experience in the field and brought to life the next forest garden.

Spanning 0.75 hectares, with over 5000 trees and over 100 different varieties, we have plans to expand the plot this season to include the construction of a well that is replenished by a forest system, creating a healthy water cycle.
